Britpop legends Oasis are set to make a triumphant return to Irish soil with two sold-out shows at Croke Park on August 16th and 17th — their first Irish performance since 2008!
If you managed to secure a ticket, here’s everything you need to know before heading to the gigs.
Gates open at 5 PM, with support acts hitting the stage around 6 PM. Oasis are expected to begin their set at approximately 8:15 PM, wrapping up by 10:30 PM. Promoters MCD recommend arriving at least 45 minutes early to navigate the crowds and get settled in time.
Your ticket will have the entrance you will need to take on it. There are four colour coded entrances. Keep in mind when planning your transport that you will not be allowed in if you go to the wrong entrance.
Blue route: Enter via Jones Road/Russell Street (for Hogan Stand Seating/Premium Seating).
Red route: Enter via St James Avenue off Cloniffe Road (for Cusack Stand Seating/Premium Seating).
Yellow route: Enter via St Margaret’s Avenue (for Davin Stand Seating).
Green Route: Enter via Foster Terrace (for Standing).

This is a major concert, so give yourself plenty of time to travel. Due to heavy traffic and limited parking, the venue strongly recommends using public transport, walking, or cycling.
By Train:
The closest train stations are Drumcondra and Clonliffe Road, both just a five-minute walk from the stadium. Irish Rail has announced additional intercity trains to Dublin for the weekend. On Sunday, August 17th, a special late-night service will run from Heuston Station to Galway, departing at 00:30.
By DART:
The nearest DART stop is Connolly Station, about a 15–20 minute walk from Croke Park. You can also take a commuter train from Connolly to Drumcondra for a shorter walk.
By Bus:
Numerous Dublin Bus routes serve the area around Croke Park, including the 1, 7, 13, 14, 16, 19, 27a, 29a, 31a, 31b, 32, 33, 40, 40b, 40d, 41, 41b, 41c, 42, 43, 44, 53, 123, and 122.
Coming from outside Dublin? No worries — Expressway is partnering with concert promoters to offer return coach services on both days from Cork, Limerick, and Galway. Additional operators like Concert Buses, Irish Concert Travel, Concert Bus, Concert Express, and Murray and Son Coaches will also provide transport to the venue.
By Car:
Note that no public parking is available at Croke Park, and traffic cordons will be in effect at least two hours before the show. Organisers urge concertgoers not to park in nearby residential areas. Instead, park in the city centre and use public transport to reach the stadium.
By Bike:
Cyclists will find ample bike-locking facilities at the venue, including the Cusack Stand car park and two-tier storage in the Davin Stand car park. Don’t have a bike? You can use a Dublin Bike, with the nearest stations on the North Circular Road and at Mountjoy Square.
Organisers recommend downloading your tickets in advance to your mobile device via the Ticketmaster app or website. Screenshots won’t be accepted, as the barcodes will not scan properly.
A Ticketmaster booth will be available at Mountjoy Square East for assistance.
Adding to the '90s Britpop nostalgia, English singer-songwriter Richard Ashcroft — former frontman of The Verve — will open the show. He’ll be joined by Liverpool indie rockers Cast, setting the perfect tone for a throwback night to remember.
Oasis have packed the set list full of fan faves. Here is the Oasis setlist from the Wembley stadium gig on August 3rd.
The concert will go ahead regardless of poor weather, so come prepared for anything. As of now, Saturday’s forecast looks sunny and dry with temperatures reaching up to 20°C. Sunday should stay mostly dry, though there’s a chance of light showers in the evening.
This is Ireland, after all — the weather can change in an instant. Pack rain gear (but leave the umbrellas at home) just in case!
Concert merch will be available at the gigs, and at the official Oasis pop-up shop at St Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre.
Security will be tight, and all attendees will be subject to searches upon entry. To avoid any issues at the gate, here’s a list of items that are not allowed inside the venue:
The standing area is strictly 14+. Anyone under 16 must be accompanied at all times by a parent or guardian aged 25 or older. Unaccompanied under-16s will not be allowed in and will not receive a refund on their tickets.
Please note: Everyone attending, regardless of age, must have a valid ticket.
If you have a general admission ticket and require accessible accommodations, you can submit a request here. Be aware that the form closes 5 days before the concert.
If you’ve purchased an accessible ticket, you’ll be contacted directly with parking information, which must be arranged in advance.
