Britney Spears has released a 25th anniversary edition of her third studio album, Britney.
This was confirmed by Legacy Recordings, the catalogue division of Sony Music Entertainment, and RCA Records, who announced the release of Britney (25th Anniversary Edition). It will be available for physical release on 22 January 2027. It can be pre ordered via this link here.
This expanded version will feature the original album, plus 11 bonus tracks, and five previously unreleased singles, including 'Right Now (Taste The Victory)", 'She’ll Never Be Me' 'Am I A Sinner' 'When I Say So' and 'My Big Secret'.
Two remixes, 'Overprotected (Darkchild Remix),' and 'Boys (feat. Pharrell Williams) (The Co-Ed Remix)', will also feature.
The 25th anniversary edition will inclue a 2LP, pressed on Bombastic Splatter vinyl, with an exclusive liquid filled vinyl from Bad World available too. Disc one will include a crystal clear record with yellow and white splatter, filled with a magenta liquid. Disc two will be a translucent magenta record.
Britney was originally released on 6 November 2001, went on to be certified platinum four times by the RIAA, and featured hits such as 'I’m a Slave 4 U,' 'Overprotected' and 'I’m Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman'.
