Crowded House have announced a massive outdoor show at Cork’s Musgrave Park on 23rd June 2024, with very special guests The Waterboys.

Hailing from Melbourne, Crowded House exploded into the public consciousness in 1986 with their self-titled debut album.

The album featured the iconic singles ‘Something So Strong’ and ‘Don’t Dream It’s Over,’ the latter of which was covered by everyone from Miley Cyrus and Ariana Grande to The Head & The Heart, among others.

The band would go on to rack up 15 million album sales, billions of streams, 13 ARIA Awards, an MTV VMA, and a Brit Award.

Four decades later and Crowded House are as popular as ever, selling out anywhere they go.

The ‘Weather with You’ stars released their seventh studio album in 2021, ‘Dreamers Are Waiting,’ which won Best Adult Contemporary Album and that years ARIA Awards.

Joining them on the night will be The Waterboys, the legendary vehicle of Irish-based, Scottish singer-songwriter Mike Scott.

Known for hits like ‘The Whole of the Moon,’ ‘How Long Will I Love You,’ ‘Glastonbury Song’ and ‘Fisherman's Blues,’ The Waterboys have been hailed as one of the great live bands on earth ever since their 1980’s inception.

Tickets priced from €49.90 go on sale at 9am Friday, 10th November 2023 from www.ticketmaster.ie
