Gardaí in Kilrush have launched a new appeal to identify three bodies discovered off the coast of County Clare in recent years.

On August 14th, 2016, a woman's body was found near Doolin. She was wearing denim  jeans with the label Esmara and a black belt, and an item of purple clothing sized 40/42.

The unidentified woman was buried in Ennis in 2018.

The body of a man was found floating in the waters off the Cliffs of Moher in July 2010. He was wearing black socks and a pair of black trainers with a Velcro strap and the label "Indonesia and Budapest." He was buried in Ennis later that month.

Also off the Cliffs of Moher, a woman's body was found floating in the water in October 2018. She was ethnically Asian, 5' 8" in height, slim and believed to be in her early 50s. The woman was wearing three items of jewellery: a gold ring with the word “Caby” on the inside, a gold ring with green stones and a gold bracelet. She was buried in Ennis in April, 2020.

Gardaí have ruled out foul play in all three cases.
