Holly Willoughby has made a return to television following a three-month hiatus.

The presenter returned to ITV to present Dancing On Ice, three months after quitting popular show This Morning in October.

Willoughby will present the show alongside Stephen Mulhern, who she welcomed onto the skating show on Sunday night. They first worked together 20 years ago, when they co-presented children's show Ministry of Mayhem.

"To the greatest show on ice, and let's hear it for the amazing cast of 2024. Let me just say a huge welcome to Stephen Mulhern", she said.

Mulhern had previously posted this ahead of the series' return, "Today is the day! I can't wait to be reuniting with @HollyWills at 6:30pm to kick off the brand new series of @DancingOnIce! Don't miss it, live on @ITV!".

The new series began with an opening performance from the show's professional skaters, and the introduction to this year's celebrity contestants,. who include former World Champion boxer Ricky Hatton, Olympian Greg Rutherford, Love Island winner Amber Davies, and Emmerdale star Roxy Shahidi.
