Take That believe that Robbie Williams' departure from the band could have been avoided, had they "talked more" about their feelings.

Speaking on their new ITVX documetary, the band admitted that sharing about their feelings during their heyday of the 1990s was somethey they never did. The trio of Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Mark Owen feel that this was the reason why Robbie Williams left the band in 1995.

"To have someone close to you that you can speak to about your feelings, that’s one of the things we never ever did in the 90s, hence why Robbie left", bandmember Howard Donald revealed. "We never discussed what he was feeling before he left that room. We look back at that moment and think we wished we could have talked more".

Donald added, "I wonder if it could have saved him leaving. It was a massive lease of life for me to get everyone back together again".

Elsewhere, Gary Barlow praised Take That fans, hailing them as the "best in the world".

"They’re the best in the world. They’ve been with us all their lives", Barlow stated.

The film 'Greatest Days' will premiere on June 16.
