Jamie Foxx's Family Reportedly "Preparing For The Worst" As Actor Remains In Hospital

Jamie Foxx's family are "hoping for the best", but "preparing for the worst" as the star remains in hospital.

The US reported that the actor is being kept "under observation" at a medical facility in Georgia, where he is still being treated having suffered a "serious medical emergency" four weeks ago. 

News of Foxx's hospitalisation was shared by his daughter Corinne Fox. Sharing via Instagram, she did not specify her father's health issue.

"We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday. Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery", she wrote. “We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time. Much love, The Foxx Family". 

Jamie Foxx had also taken to Instagram, thanking his followers, and fans for their support.

While specifics regarding Foxx's condition have not been confirmed, a source has said that  he “needs all the prayers and well-wishes his fans can muster”.

The source also added, “Jamie’s people are saying he’s doing OK and improving, while doctors try to get to the bottom of his problems — but he wouldn’t be in a hospital this long if he was anything close to OK". 

Jamie Foxx was reportedly shooting a film in Atlanta when he was taken ill last month.
