Jedward have announced that they will return to the Eurovision, to perform at an official open air extravaganza on Saturday.

The Dublin twins John and Edward Grimes who represented Ireland at the song contest twice, are to headine a show called "Jedward’s epic Eurovision singalong'.

2011 saw Jedward achieve Ireland's highest finish at the Eurovision final since Mark Roberts' second place finish in 1997. The twins came in 8th place in the final standings with their entry 'Lipstick'.

The following year, the pair represented Ireland again, finishing 19th, with 'Waterline'.

Other acts performing at Saturday's event also include Steps' Claire Richards, Vengaboys, along with Katrina from 1997 Eurivision winners Katrina and the Waves. Derry singer, Brooke Scullion who represented Ireland at last year's contest, will also take to the stage at Liverpool, the Eurovision's host city for this year.
