After reuniting for a special concert at the Coronation of King Charles III over the weekend, Take That have now promised fans that there is "much more to come".

The trio which consist of Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, and Mark Owen, performed at the historical show at Windsor Castle, where they debuted the rework of 2008 hit 'Greatest Day', featuring singer Calum Scott and DJ Robin Schluz. They also performed classic hits 'Never Forget' and 'Shine'.

Sharing a clip of themselves performing their reworked version of 'Greatest Day' via Instagram, Take That also added, “It was incredible to perform live together again for the first time in 4 years and there is so much more to come. We’re back for good".

Having previously spoken of their delight over celebrating one of their "biggest singles", this new version also marks the first new music released by Take That since their 2018 album 'Odyssey Greatest Hits'.

Last month, Take That announced that they had joined forces with Calum Scott and DJ Robin Schluz to release this new version of 'Greatest Day'.

"I was really nervous about jumping on a song that was already such a smash and recording on my vocal in there but it was also such an honour", Calum Scott had said previously. "Gary and I hit the studio together for a day working on a new section and doing new vocals and then we went it to the boys [Mark and Howard] to rerecord their parts".

Scott also echoed Take That's statement of there being "much more to come", having revealed that he had spoken to Gary Barlow and co about future collaborations.

"We said after this track we want to get in the studio together and write original music", he said.  "I'm in the middle of working on my third album so hopefully we can do something for that. I'm excited to be able to work with him. Even being linked to a band like Take That is wild".
