Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are to produce two non-fiction Netflix series.

The shows which will be made by the couple's Archewell Productions company, will focus on lifestyle and polo. Both series will be produced by Meghan Markle, with Prince Harry to work on the polo series.

According to Netflix, one show is set to focus on "the joys of cooking, gardening, entertaining and friendship", with the other looking at  "unprecedented access to the world of professional polo" and the US Open Polo Championships in Florida.

On the Polo series, the streaming giants said this, "Known primarily for its aesthetic and social scene, the series will pull the curtain back on the grit and passion of the sport, capturing players and all it takes to compete at the highest level".

Both shows are in the early stages of production, with release dates to be confirmed in the coming months.

Previously, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had released three documentaries with Netflix in a multimillion pound deal, including Heart of Invictus which was released last August, focussing on the Invictus Games, which were set up by Prince Harry in 2014. They were set up for sick military personnel and veterans.

They also released the series Live To Lead, as well as the controversial six part Harry & Meghan documentary in December 2022.
