Niall Horan has landed a job on the Voice US.

The Mullingar-man will now join Kelly Clarkson, Blake Shelton and newcomer Chance the Rapper on the coaching panel.  This is one of the biggest shows on American television and they've had the biggest names in music on their past panels including Pharrell Williams, Gwen Stefani, Camila Cabello and John Legend.

Country singer Blake Shelton has been one of the coaches since the very beginning 12 years ago, which is where he met his wife Gwen Stefani.  He has announced he will leave at the end of the next season.

Niall shot to fame when he was put into a boyband after auditioning as a solo artist on "The Xfactor" when he was just 16.  The band One Direction went on to have global success as has Niall as a solo singer.  According to Forbes, he is the 4th richest celebrity under the age of 30 with an estimated worth of £67.6 million.
