Prince William slams Panorama interview

Prince William has called for his late mother's Panorama interview to never be aired again and is furious with Martin Bashir over his false claims that fuelled Princess Diana's paranoia and isolation.

He said the interview further drove his parents apart as Martin Bashir fabricated stories about how the people closest to Diana were traitors.  Bahir even claimed some of her security team were selling stories to the tabloids and faked bank statements showing the payments made.

Both William and Harry have received letters of apology from the BBC over the scandal.  The BBC may now face multi-million pound compensation claims from the people who were defamed during the course of this television interview.
