Filmmaker Simon Chambers finds his life drastically interrupted when he is called back to London from India to care for his single, gay Uncle David, who had been an actor before he retired.  He refuses to go into a care home and despite not knowing where he left his false teeth, he can recite all the lines of the Shakespeare plays.

Simon has won the award for Best Directing, International Competition at the 2022 International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam. MUCH ADO ABOUT DYING played at a number of international festivals including Hot Docs Festival, DocPoint Helsinki Documentary Film Festival, and more.
