Kylie Minogue's 2001 hit 'Can't Get You Out Of My Head' is the most played track on UK radio and TV airplay in the 21st century, it has been revealed.
According to PPL, the Australian popstar has amassed 230 million seconds of UK radio and TV airplay this century, which is the equivalent of being played for seven years straight.
One year alone is accounted for by 'Can't Get You Out Of My Head', with almost 20% of Minogue's UK airplay on that song alone.
Among her top 10 most played UK airplay hits of the 21st century, her 2000 collaboration with Robbie Williams, 'Kids', lies in fifth place, with her tune 'Spinning Around' in second place, a single which was released the same year as 'Kids'.
Despite only being released last May, it emerged that Kylie's 'Padam Padam' makes up 2% of the singer's total airplay, finding itself at number 12 in the list, overtaking some renowned tunes such as 'Come Into My World’ (14), ‘Slow’ (16), and ‘I Should Be So Lucky’ (17).
'Padam Padam' has already been broadcasted for over 4 million seconds.
