National Road Toll Charges Increase

Toll charges across national roads in Ireland have increased by the maximum, in line with inflation.

These charges have increased across all but one of the country's ten roads after a six-month defernent by the Government ended at midnight.

Tolls are to increase by 30c for cars without tags across the M50, while cars with tags will increase by 20c to €2.30.

Elsehwere, cars with video accounts have spiked by 20c, to €2.90. However, tolls along the Dublin Port Tunnel and the East Link Bridge have not increased.
