Spotify have ended their podcast deal with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
This comes after it was announced that the podcast show Archetypes which was hosted by the former Suits actress, would not be renewed for a second season.
News of this parting of the ways was confirmed via a short statement released by Spotify and the couple's content creation label Archewell Audio.
“Spotify and Archewell Audio have mutually agreed to part ways and are proud of the series we made together”, it read.
This deal which was reportedly worth $25 million, had been signed by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex back in August 2020.
Archetypes saw Meghan Markle chat to celebrities and historians about the stereotypes which many women had historically faced. Running for 12 episodes overall, the show landed the podcast award at the People's Choice Awards in Los Angeles, back in December.
