A Teenage Boy Has Died After A Hit-And-Run At The Clare And Limerick Border

A teenage boy has died following a collision involving an e-bike and another vehicle in Cloonlara on Friday night. The vehicle involved did not remail at the scene.

The boy, who was in his mid-teens, was discovered unresponsive at the roadside by emergency services. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after the incident occurred on the L3050 at Cottage Cross, close to the Clare-Limerick border, shortly after 11pm.

Diversions are currently in place as the investigation continues.
