Legendary men of the ballad, The Wolfe Tones have announced Limerick's Thomond Park as their final staging point of song.

The veterans have added Limerick to their Final Farewell tour and their very final performance will be in Limerick on Sunday, July 13th, 2025.

After an incredible journey spanning over six decades, the band will bid adieu with a huge outdoor show for their their last Irish show.

Tickets go on sale Monday, 28th October 2024.

Having recently performed on the main stage at the 2024 Electric Picnic, which drew the largest ever recorded crowd and sold out three shows at Dublin's 3Arena plus Belfast's SSE Arena, the demand to see The Wolfe Tones one final time has been nothing short of tremendous.

Brian Warfield of the band reflected on this remarkable outpouring of love from fans: “We have been completely overwhelmed by the reaction to the recent shows at the 3Arena, Dublin, and SSE Arena, Belfast!  All shows sold out very fast and we know that a lot of people were left disappointed they could not see The Wolfe Tones for one last time.  We are truly humbled, and the demand to see the group in a major outdoor setting for a final time has been immense.   We are therefore delighted to have the opportunity to perform in a major stadium concert at the famed Thomond Park on Sunday, 13th July 2025.  It will be the final farewell and goodbye to all our friends, so let’s do it in true Limerick style!”

Their 2024 tour has already seen incredible success, with all shows selling out at venues across Ireland, including Virgin Media Park, Cork, Galway Airport, INEC, Killarney (two shows), Breakwater Festival, Wexford (two shows), Big Top, Letterkenny, and TF Royal Hotel & Theatre, Castlebar (two shows).

From their humble beginnings in Dublin to performing at some of the world’s most prestigious venues, such as Carnegie Hall in New York and the Paris Olympia, The Wolfe Tones have left an indelible mark on Irish music. Their songs, from “Celtic Symphony” to “Let The People Sing,” have become anthems for generations of fans across the globe.

Tickets are priced at €49.90 and €59.90 will go on sale Monday 28th October 2024*
