Beyoncé has officially reached billionaire status, cementing her place among the most financially successful artists in music history. According to Forbes, she is now one of just five musicians to have crossed the ten-figure threshold. She joins her husband Jay-Z, who is estimated to be worth between $2.5 billion and $2.6 billion, as well as Taylor Swift, Rihanna and Bruce Springsteen in the elite group.

The milestone caps what has been an exceptionally strong period in Beyoncé’s career. Her 2023 Renaissance World Tour was already a massive success, grossing nearly $600 million and drawing millions of fans worldwide. But it was the next chapter that helped push her into the billionaire club.

In 2024, Beyoncé released Cowboy Carter, her first full country album. The project marked a creative shift and opened up new commercial doors. The following year, the Cowboy Carter Tour became one of the defining musical events of 2025. The 32-show run grossed more than $400 million from ticket sales and sold around 1.6 million tickets globally, making it the highest-grossing country tour in history and the top-earning solo artist tour of the year.

The tour also broke records for its efficiency. Despite playing in just nine cities, Beyoncé used a mini-residency format that saw multiple nights in major venues such as SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, where a five-night stretch alone generated over $50 million in revenue.

Her commercial success extended beyond touring. Cowboy Carter shattered streaming records when it was released, posting one of the most-streamed debut days on platforms like Spotify and becoming the biggest single-day streaming entry for a country album by a female artist. The album also earned Beyoncé her first Album of the Year Grammy and multiple other awards, solidifying its impact both commercially and critically.

Much of Beyoncé’s financial success comes from decisions she made earlier in her career. In 2010, she founded Parkwood Entertainment, which manages her music, tours, film projects and other ventures. Owning her own company has allowed her to retain a larger share of revenue from her projects, from massive tours to film partnerships and brand deals.

In addition to music and performance income, Beyoncé has expanded into business ventures including her haircare brand Cécred, a whiskey label SirDavis, and other lifestyle products. These ventures, along with smart investments and her extensive music catalogue, have all contributed to her growing wealth.

At 44, Beyoncé has now joined an extremely small group of musicians to become a billionaire. Her career spans back to her early years with Destiny’s Child, and her ongoing commercial and cultural influence shows no sign of slowing. As her creative journey continues, so too does her impact on music, business and global pop culture.
