Door Open For Brian McFadden To Make Westlife Return

In a recent interview, Westlife's Nicky Byrne appeared to hint that the door remains open for Brian McFadden to return to the ban.

Byrne made these comments while speaking on Magic FM, where he revealed that he has decorated his Malahide home in Westlife memorabilia, including his bandmates' individual dolls, including his former colleague Brian's.

In this chat, fellow Westlife singer, Shane Filan even joked that Nicky gave him a tour in his Westlife memorabilia, sharing that Brian's doll is neatly tucked away in one of his drawers.

'He pulls out a drawer and goes, "Look, Brian is in there - just in case",' Shane claimed, with Nicky confirming: 'He's in there - just in case!'.

Kian Egan added: "Well he left the band, so you took him off the shelf. Nicky joked that should someone else, paying particular attention to Shane, leave, they'll also be taken off the shelf".

However, last year, Brian McFadden appeared to rule out a return to the band. The singer had previously left Westlife in March 2004.

Insisting that "it would never work" if he was to return, McFadden said: "The Westlife I was in 25 years ago for six years was three albums. The boys have had, what, eight or nine more since? I try to explain to people, "What would that look like, me going back?",

"I’m not part of that band. There is a catalogue of music I’m not involved in so it would make no sense. How would that work?".

News of this comes as Westlife announced a new world tour which will take place next year, as they celebrate on 25 years in the music business. More on this here.
