Lord Sugar is lining up the ultimate birthday treat for his 80th – a private performance by Sir Elton John.
The Apprentice supremo is planning a huge bash to mark the milestone next March and has been in talks with the Candle In The Wind singer about providing the entertainment.

While candidates on his BBC show have to battle it out for a £250,000 investment, hiring Sir Elton would normally require a seven-figure sum.
But billionaire Lord Sugar is hoping he might be able to negotiate himself a mate’s rate.
The pair have known each other for years and have a shared history in football after both becoming high-profile club chairmen in the Nineties.
And it won’t be Sir Elton's first gig for him.
The business tycoon hired him in 2008 to celebrate his 40th wedding anniversary with wife Ann, so Elton has already provided the soundtrack for one of the biggest celebrations in the Sugar family.
Lord Sugar's 80th birthday will take place in March 2027, with the businessman expected to mark the occasion with a major celebration surrounded by family and friends.
