Five's reunion tour was "healing", according to bandmember Scott Robinson.
The boy band, returned for a huge reunion tour across the UK last year, the first time they had reunited in 25 years, and Robinson, who features in the band alongside Abz Love (pictured above), Ritchie Neville, Jason 'J' Brown and Sean Conlon, called the experience "healing", as he enjoyed performing "in the moment".
"It sounds soppy, but it felt healing in many ways. In the past, on tour, I've felt quite lost and in my own head. This time, I was in the moment every night, looking at my brothers here and thinking 'Oh my God, they're so talented, we're actually really good at what we do!", Robinson said.
As for what the future holds, Robinson insists the band have not looked beyond September, and he hopes they can continue for "as long as possible".
"We haven't looked past September, to be honest. We'll all sit down then and see how we feel", Ritchie Neville said.
At this point, Scott Robinson added: "Who knows what the future holds? I'd carry on doing this as long as people want us to do it, and I'm sure all the boys would say the same!".
Five burst onto the scene in the late 1990s, releasing hits like, Slam Dunk (Da Funk), Everybody Get Up, Keep On Movin, and If Ya Gettin' Down.
Last year also saw them play their first live show in Ireland in 25 years, with a concert at Dublin's 3Arena on November 23, having played live in Belfast's SSE Arena the previous night. More on this story here.
However, some of the band were not convinced that a reunion was on the cards, with J Brown admitting that he "never" thought that it would happen.
But he did add that his his bandmates have been like "brothers" for almost 30 years, adding that his love for them has "never ever" waned.
"Were there times I told my family I was p****d off or I was in pain? Yes. And I made comments myself", the popstar said. “But these guys have been my brothers since 1997. The amount of love that I have for each one of them has never ever changed. It’s too strong a bond to be broken".
At present, Five are scheduled to take to the stage live at London's Mighty Hoopla this weekend.
