Original member of The Pussycat Dolls, Carmit Bachar, has claimed that she was not invited to the group's upcoming reunion tour.

Bachar made these comments a week after the Pussycat Dolls had announced that they were reforming as a trio, as part of a 20th anniversary celebration of their debut album, 'PCD'. The group will reform as a trio, featuring Nicole Scherzinger, Kimberly Wyatt, and Ashley Roberts.

This will see the group head over to Dublin's 3Arena on October 5 this year. Find out more here.

But now, Carmit Bachar, who featured in the original line up of the Pussycat Dolls, along with Scherzinger, Roberts and Wyatt, as well as Melody Thornton and Jessica Sutta, has claimed that she was not included the the upcoming reunion.

“In light of recent developments, I feel it is important to speak honestly and respectfully", she wrote on Instagram. “I was not contacted regarding the group’s decision to move forward, and I learned of these plans at the same time as the public".

Bachar went on to say that she wished she had been contacted directly regarding this reunion: “given [her] history with the brand” adding that this is “disappointing on a personal level".

Despite her obvious disappointment, Bachar insists she has no intention of causing any drama, and is proud of her work and association with the 'Don't Chat' hitmakers.

“My intention in sharing this is not to create division, but to honor the truth and the fans who have supported us throughout the years,” she stated. “Transparency and respect are values I hold deeply".

Elsewhere, Bachar said that she is currently focusing on her well-being and new projects, including new music and an “exciting collaboration with a television and music industry icon".
