Susan Boyle has responded to Oasis dedicating a song to her at their Edinburgh show.
The Gallagher brothers dedicated ‘Stand By Me’ to the Britain's Got talent singer saying “this one’s for Susan Boyle” before playing the famous track.
Liam Gallagher later repeated the comment in an Instagram caption of photos from the Scottish gig.
Susan Boyle responded by posting a picture to her Instagram of her donned head to toe in Oasis merch.
In the caption talent show runner-up thanked Liam for the dedication saying: “You’ve made this old girl’s day”.

“Hope to see you and the rest of Oasis at Wembley in September for a wee bit of poznan. Big love to you all.”
Oasis performed three sold out shows in Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium this week, the band's first Scottish gigs since 2009.
Liam took to the stage on opening night and called out the City of Edinburgh council for being “a bunch of snakes” for criticising Oasis fans.
He added that the band were “still waiting for our apology” from the local authority for reportedly suggesting the Britpop band’s supporters would be “rowdy” and “intoxicated”.
“£3 billion we’ve brought into this city over the past five days. And that’s between you and us. Three billion f****** quid.” Liam told concert-goers. “You won’t see f*** all, because they’ll rob it and spread it among their posh ugly mates.”
The council have denied making any comments about Oasis fans and say that the band have been misinformed.
Oasis’ next stop will be in Dublin’s Croke Park this weekend before heading off to Canada for the North American leg of the tour. They will then return to London for another two sold out shows in Wembley Stadium – which Susan Boyle will be attending.
The band touched down in Ireland on Wednesday with founding band member Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs sharing a photo of the Dublin coastline from their plane.
“Bring on the noise” he said in his caption.
He also shared a photo of fans enjoying a previous gig on the tour, telling Irish fans: “See you in Dublin, bring the noise.”
The Gallagher brothers credit Arthur for being the reason the tour even exists, telling Cardiff fans: “If it wasn’t for him, none of this would have happened.”
