Taylor Swift has recently hinted that Galway Girl singer Ed Sheeran may be performing at her wedding.

In August, Swift got engaged to American footballer Travis Kelce, the announcement broke the record for the most liked photo on Instagram, with the post surpassing 1 million likes.

Swift appeared on UK’s Hits Radio Breakfast Show and joked that there was nothing more she and Sheeran loved than being asked to perform at huge events.

“We spoke to Ed Sheeran a few weeks back, and he told us he is constantly asked to perform at people’s weddings,” she said. Swift was then asked by host Fleur East if Sheeran could sing at her wedding to which she replied with “Oh, it would be hard to keep him from it, I think."

The pop singer opened up about her friendship with Sheeran and revealed that they had recently caught up together at Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco's wedding. “I saw him last weekend, actually, at a wedding of one of our best friends. We were just talking about how much we love when he came out onstage with me at Wembley during the Eras Tour,” she said.

Elsewhere in the interview, Swift discussed her fear that her songwriting would "dry up" if she was ever happy in a relationship, as she often relied on her complicated love life for inspiration when writing music.

“I used to have this dark fear that if I ever were truly happy and free, being myself and nurtured by a relationship, what happens if the writing just dries up? …What if writing is directly tied to my torment and pain? And it turns out, that’s not the case at all, and we just were catching lightning in a bottle with this record. But it’s nice because you’re coming from a place of happiness and love, you can go back to those places. You can look forward to other things,” she said.
