The Pussycat Dolls have cancelled all bar one of their North American dates following reports of poor ticket sales.

These dates were to be part of the band's 'PCD Forever Tour', celebrating the 20th anniversary of their debut album 'PCD'. The tour was to also see them travel to Ireland and the UK for nine shows in September, which will go ahead as planned, with the band saying that “several shows have already sold out”.

The tour was to see the group return as a trio, including Nicole Scherzinger, Kimberly Wyatt, and Ashley Roberts.

But the band have confirmed that these dates have been cancelled, sharing this post on social media.

“When we announced the ‘PCD Forever Tour’, we hoped to bring the show to fans across the world. After taking an honest look at the North American run, we’ve made the difficult and heartbreaking decision to cancel all but one of the North America dates", the Pussycat Dolls said.

The only show which was not cancelled sees the Pussycat Dolls play live at Outloud Festival during WeHo Pride near Los Angeles on June 6.

“We could not think of a more meaningful place to celebrate with our fans. The LGBTQ+ community has shown us so much love and support throughout our career, and we’re honoured to be part of a weekend rooted in joy, pride, music and chosen family", they added.

Back in March, original Pussycat Dolls bandmember, Carmit Bachar stated that she was not invited to join the band for this reunion tour.

“In light of recent developments, I feel it is important to speak honestly and respectfully", she wrote on Instagram. “I was not contacted regarding the group’s decision to move forward, and I learned of these plans at the same time as the public".

She also went on to say that she wishes she had been contacted by the group about this reunion, and that the band had “given [her] history with the brand” adding that this is “disappointing on a personal level".
