Olivia Rodrigo has announced a new remix of her single, 'expectations' featuring Chappell Roan.
The track will be released via Interscope Records, arriving on October 15th at 5pm PST or October 16th at 1am IST.
The original song appeared on Rodrigo's album, you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love, debuting at number one on the Billboard 200 with 485,000 first week units, and was the biggest solo debut for 2026, topping the charts in 17 countries.
It also marked the first feature from Roan, and was produced by their musical collaborator, Danoel Nigro. The new remix of the song will be available in physical formats with limited edition 7” vinyls, CDs and cassettes. You can pre order via this link here.
News of this comes after Olivia Rodrigo hosted an all women led music festival, Daisy Chain Fields, which took place at Great Park in Irvine in California. It raised $20 million for ten non profit organisations, which were helping to advance and advocated for women and girls, and provide opportunities for education, dialogue and engagement regarding issues affecting women and girls in the US and worldwide.
Olivia Rodrigo also began her sold out, The Unravelled Tour, which sold more than 1 million tickets worldwide.
