A man in his 20s arrested during the investigation into a fatal house fire in Co Offaly last year has been charged.
Four-year-old Tadgh Farrell and 60-year-old Mary Holt lost their lives in the blaze at a house in Castleview Park, Edenderry, on 6 December.
On Tuesday, gardaí carried out a number of arrests as part of the ongoing inquiry.
Two men in their 20s, one man in his 30s, and a teenage boy were detained.
A fifth suspect, also a man in his 20s, was arrested on Wednesday evening.
Gardaí said this afternoon that the man who has been charged is due to appear before Tullamore District Court this evening.
The other four people arrested in connection with the investigation remain in custody.
