Fans of Traitors Ireland got a double dose of drama over the last two episodes.

In Episode 8, the Traitors pulled off one of their boldest moves yet. Nick delivered a “farewell hug” that ended up eliminating Christine in front of everyone. Paudie hesitated at first, saying, “I’m not a hugger,” but Christine became the target in the end. The moment left everyone stunned and set the stage for chaos in the following episode.

Episode 9 picked up immediately after the shocking hug. Host Siobhán McSweeney revealed that the Traitors had placed a Piseog, aka an ancient curse, on one Faithful. Viewers realized one of the contestants was about "die” by the end of the day. The group took part in a funeral-themed challenge to figure out the cursed player. They guessed Ben, but the real victim was Christine. Tensions ran high at the Round Table, and the vote went against Paudie, who was banished. Before leaving, he dropped a bombshell: his son, Andrew, was also a Traitor.

These episodes show just how ruthless and cunning the Traitors can be. With alliances breaking and secrets exposed, the remaining Faithful will have to watch every move carefully as the game heads toward its conclusion next week
