Two people, a man and a woman in their 30s, have been arrested in relation to allegations of the false imprisonment of a woman in Kildare.
The incident happened at around ten o'clock on Monday night in the Castletown area of Celbridge.
Gardaí arrested a man and a woman in Tallaght in Dublin around half an hour after the incident was first reported, with the scene in Celbridge preserved for a technical examination.
