The sitcom star has been arrested six times in the past five years for a number of different offences. Bryan has previously faced charges for fourth degree felony assault, allegedly strangling his partner, and two domestic violence charges.
Bryan was taken into police custody Saturday 29th November for allegedley violating his probation, the sitcom star was previously convicted for domestic violence.
The 44 year old is currently being held without bail and is to appear in court on Wednesday, December 3rd. It remains unclear if Bryan has legal representation to comment on his behalf.
The actor's prior arrest came about in January, it was reported at the time that the actor was facing charges of second degree domestic violence. A police report, obtained by People magazine read that the woman who was involved in the incident lived with Bryan and that they shared children. The woman reportedly told the police that Bryan "choked her and punched her in the face multiple times."
The woman involved in the incident is suggested to be Johnnie Faye Cartwright, as the two share three children. Cartwright has also been arrested and is held in the same jail as Bryan, she is currently facing five charges. According to People, her charges include, driving under the influence, one count of attempted first-degree assault and three counts of reckless endangering.
Back in 2023, Cartwright showed her support for the sitcom star. “Trauma can bring struggles in many shapes and forms. It’s a horrible situation that’s going to be spun in so many ways. I’ve learned firsthand the truth will never align with what’s been put out there," she said in a statement to US Weekly.
Cartwright stated that she will always want "what’s best for the father of my children.”
