Amanda Holden tipped to host "Blind Date"

30 year ago, a 19-year-old Amanda Holden appeared on "Blind Date" with Cilla Black and now it looks like she could well be hosting a reboot of the show.

Amanda went on the panel supposedly looking for love but later admitted that she wasn't even single - in fact she was engaged.  This time around contestants who haven't been picked will be dropped through a trapdoor.

Amanda wasn't the only well-known face to appear on the dating show before they were famous - our very own Dermot Bannon also made an appearance. The girl behind the screen was aspiring TV presenter Jenni Falconer.
