Barry Keoghan has spoken about the unexpectedly "generous" way in which David Beckham helped him out.
The Irish actor spoke about this during his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel's chat show last week, where he revealed how the former footballer has been helping him out in life.
The pair crossed paths at last year's BAFTA awards, where a stunned Keoghan was asked for a selfie by yours truly. Doesn't get much better than that does it?
Sharing this snap on social media, Beckham wrote: "A little starstruck to meet so many talented people that I've watched on the big screen".
Speaking about this meeting, Barry Keoghan told Kimmel: "I could have played it cool and been like "nah sorry," but we got a selfie and I got his number and we chatted away. I also sent him a picture of the letter I wrote him after his documentary came out".
The Saltburn star also added this, "And then he's booking tables for me in Paris", which left viewers and the host in shock.
"David Beckham's running a concierge service now, that's pretty exciting", to which the actor replied: "No, but he's so generous like that, I was asking for a place to eat in Paris and he had a list and was like, "oh let me sort this out," and I just found it really surreal".
Growing up, Barry Keoghan of course dreamed of following in the footsteps of his second cousin Frank Stapleton, who played for Beckham's former club, Manchester United.
