Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola Peltz are reportedly in discussions with Hulu over a potential tell-all docuseries that could spotlight both his culinary ambitions and an ongoing rift with his famous family.
The couple, who are now based in the United States, are said to be considering an offer that would document Brooklyn’s growing interest in food and cooking, while also addressing tensions involving his parents, David Beckham and Victoria Beckham. Both parents have previously partnered with Netflix on their own high-profile documentary projects.
According to reports, the proposed series would place Brooklyn and Nicola in direct competition with the Beckham brand’s existing media presence. Sources claim the couple are eager to share their perspective publicly but only under conditions that give them full control over the narrative.
“When they do decide to speak, it will be on their own terms,” a source reportedly said. “They also want to make it clear they are not being controlled and that they make their own decisions.”
The project could also serve as a response to speculation surrounding Nicola’s family influence. Her father, businessman Nelson Peltz, previously held a significant stake in The Walt Disney Company, Hulu’s parent company, before selling it in 2024.
Brooklyn has previously spoken out about strained relations with his parents. In a lengthy social media statement earlier this year, he accused them of attempting to interfere in his marriage and prioritising public image over family relationships.
“For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family,” he wrote. “The performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into.”
He further alleged that misleading stories had been placed in the media, adding: “I believe the truth always comes out.”
The reported tensions have been reflected in recent public absences. Brooklyn did not appear in Victoria’s recent Netflix series and was also missing from several major family events, including David’s milestone birthday celebrations and a formal ceremony at Windsor Castle.
Despite the ongoing speculation, Brooklyn has continued to maintain a public presence in Los Angeles. Over the weekend, he was seen dining at a celebrity-frequented restaurant in West Hollywood alongside Australian singer Cody Simpson.
Neither Hulu nor representatives for the couple have officially confirmed the project.
