British comedian Frank Skinner has married his long term girlfriend, Catherine Mason.

The broadcaster confirmed this news, having been dating her for 24 years.

Skinner has previously presented The Frank Sinner Show on Absolute Radio's breakfast show for 15 years, before going on to host the podcast, Frank Off The Radio, alongside Emily Dean and Pierre Novellie.

On a recent episode, Skinner confirmed the delightful news regarding his nuptials, saying that they tied the knot at Camden Town Hall on Monday.

"You’ll never guess what I did on Monday. I got married", Skinner said, "Don’t be offended. We didn’t invite anyone. We got married on the stairs, not in a room, but on the stairs at Camden Town Hall".

"What the thing that no one ever says about getting married is it’s quite embarrassing. How can I put it? It’s a bit basic, getting married".

Skinner also revealed that his bride Catherine, who is a talent agent, stated that she did not want a big party, or lots of guests, or even a white dress, having turned up in a flowery dress.

He also revealed that the couple's son, Buzz, had attended the wedding as a witness.

"We had our child there. I think you have to have them now to a modern marriage, it’s like something old, something new, something boring, something blue and your children", he said.

The comic also said that they arrived at the ceremony to the track, Lie Dream Of Casino Soul, by the Fall.

Explaining their decision to marry, Skinner added: "I don’t know why I just thought maybe I got too much money. I’ll give her half of it in about five years’ time".

Frank Skinner is also renowned for presenting BBC's comedy show, Room 101, as well as several series of Portrait/Landscape Artist Of The Year for Sky Arts.
