Coolio Died From Accidental Fentanyl Overdose - Medical Examiner Confirms

A medical examiner has confirmed that Coolio died from an accidental fentanyl, heroin and metamphetamine overdose.

Coolio whose real name is Artis Leon Ivey Jr, was found dead in a friend's bathroom in LA last September. He was 59 years old. 

The news regarding cause of death was confirmed by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical-Coroner, who published new case notes revealing that the rapper suffered an unspecified cardiomyopathy condition (cardiomyopathy being defined as chronic disease of the heart muscle), along with asthma. 

However, the departmemt revealed that neither condition influenced his death, while recent use of phenyclidine (PCP) was also cited as one of Coolio's "other significant conditions".
