Depeche Mode's "Fletch" dies aged 60

Pet Shop Boys and Alison Moyet are amongst the stars paying tribute to Depeche Mode's founding member Andy "Fletch" Fletcher who has sadly died at the age of 60.

Pet Shop Boys described him as "a warm, friendly and funny person who loved electronic music". 

The keyboard player got the group together in 1980 when he was just a teenager.  The band confirmed news of his death saying they are "shocked and filled with overwhelming sadness".

Alison Moyet said she was in shock.  She commented how "Since we were 10.  From the same estate.  Classmates to labelmates.  Fletch I have no words".
