Elizabeth Hurley has opened up about the "surprising" reaction to her romance with Billy Ray Cyrus.
The pair started dating last year, having first met on the set for the 2022 film, Christmas in Paradise. Their romance began after Elizabeth offered her support to the singer via text, following his acrimonious divorce from Firerose.
Speaking to Page Six earlier this week, the actress has spoken about the reaction she has received since she and the country singer went public, with a few loved up photos on social media last month.
"I think people found Billy and I being together a little surprising", Hurley said. "It's not surprising to me because we're actually quite similar and get on extremely well".
Elsewhere, Elizabeth Hurley said that she and Billy Ray Cyrus have a lot in common.
"We both like to laugh a lot, and we both love the country," she stated. "And we both love country music, both love movies. We've got a lot in common - and cowboy boots, definitely".
In a separate interview, Elizabeth also mentioned the couple's common interests.
"We are very happy, we both love country music, we both love the country, and we both love our kids. We're happy together", she said.
Previously, Billy Cyrus had spoken about his relationship with Elizabeth in an interview with The Ty Bentli Show.
"It's just been beautiful," he said, before revealing it had been "a long time" since he had been "this happy".
