Enrique Iglesias and Anna Kournikova have quietly welcomed their fourth child, expanding their family to six and marking another milestone in one of pop culture’s most private long-term relationships.

The longtime couple confirmed the news on social media, revealing that their baby was born on December 17, 2025. In a joint Instagram post, they shared a photo showing the newborn alongside a stuffed sloth, captioned simply: “My Sunshine 12.17.2025.” No further details were disclosed, and the couple have not yet revealed the baby’s name or sex.

The arrival adds to a growing family for the pair, who are already parents to eight-year-old twins Nicholas and Lucy, born in December 2017, and five-year-old daughter Mary, affectionately known as Masha, who was born in January 2020. Fans were quick to notice that Iglesias used an almost identical caption when announcing Mary’s birth five years ago, writing at the time: “My Sunshine 01.30.2020.”

Despite their global fame, Enrique Iglesias and Anna Kournikova have long kept their personal life out of the spotlight. The couple began dating in 2001 after meeting on the set of Iglesias’ music video for Escape, and next year will mark their 25th anniversary together. While they have never publicly confirmed whether they are married, they are regarded as one of entertainment’s most enduring partnerships.

Anna Kournikova, now 44, rose to international fame as one of the most recognisable figures in women’s tennis in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Though she never won a singles title on the WTA Tour, she achieved world No. 1 status in doubles, won two Australian Open doubles titles, and became a cultural icon thanks to her success, visibility and crossover appeal. Since retiring from professional tennis, she has largely stepped away from public life, focusing on family while occasionally sharing glimpses of home life online.

Her final Instagram post before announcing the birth showed Kournikova celebrating Halloween with her three older children, with the twins dressed in matching pumpkin costumes while she wore a bright yellow duck outfit — a rare but playful insight into their family dynamic.

Meanwhile, Enrique Iglesias, 50, remains one of the most successful Latin artists of all time. The Spanish pop superstar, son of legendary singer Julio Iglesias, has sold over 180 million records worldwide and holds the record for the most No. 1 songs on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart, with 27 chart-toppers, as well as 24 No. 1 hits on the Latin Pop Airplay chart. He has also scored 25 entries on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100, including two No. 1 singles: ‘Bailamos’ in 1999 and ‘Be With You’ in 2000.

In March 2024, Iglesias released his latest album, Final (Vol. 2), featuring collaborations with Miranda Lambert, Belinda, El Alfa and Maria Becerra. The album debuted in the top 10 of Billboard’s Latin Pop Albums chart, landing at No. 6, reinforcing his continued relevance more than three decades into his career.

While both Iglesias and Kournikova continue to command global recognition, the birth announcement reflects their long-standing preference for privacy — sharing only what they choose, and letting family life remain firmly at the centre.
