Halle Berry is asking a court to restore her previous custody agreement with ex-husband Olivier Martinez after he accused her of abusing their 13-year-old son, Maceo.
In court documents obtained by Entertainment Tonight, Halle Berry strongly denied the allegations and said she has never physically or emotionally abused their son.

"I have never physically, emotionally, or otherwise abused Maceo," she said. "I am a victim of domestic violence, and I help victims of domestic violence. I am not a perpetrator of violence. I would never hurt our child."
Halle is asking the court to restore an August 2023 custody agreement which gave her and Olivier 50/50 custody of Maceo. She is also seeking to regain the tie-breaking authority she had under their previous agreement.

The actress has additionally asked the court to require Olivier to attend their court-ordered therapy sessions.
The latest filing comes after Olivier was granted a temporary restraining order against Halle on Maceo's behalf last week.
Olivier alleged that Maceo sent him a text claiming Halle had physically attacked him while he was playing a virtual reality game. He also alleged that the incident was not the first time Halle had been abusive towards their son.

Halle has vehemently denied the accusations.
Her lawyer said in a statement: "Halle is used to this kind of outrageous conduct from Mr. Martinez. And while she is deeply saddened, she will not allow it to deter her from fighting for Maceo's best interests and providing him with the love and support he needs."
Halle and Olivier began dating in 2010 and married in 2013. They welcomed Maceo later that year before separating in 2015. Their divorce was finalised in 2016, although the pair have continued to deal with custody issues involving their son.
The latest dispute will now be considered by the court as Halle seeks to have the previous custody arrangement restored.
