A mum has sparked a fierce online debate after revealing that her partner of six years has never once told her ‘I love you.’
TikToker Charlotte, who posts under the handle @charandchester12, went viral over the weekend after sharing the unexpected detail about her long-term relationship.
In the clip, she told viewers: ‘Me and my boyfriend have been together 6 years… He’s NEVER told me he loves me. IS HE BROKEN?’
Despite the provocative tone, Charlotte appeared unfazed by the situation.
In the caption, she reassured followers: ‘I know he does love me, I just love how crazy people think it is. I wouldn’t change him.’
She added that her partner’s stance is simple: ‘I’ll say it on a day that matters.’
The video quickly gained traction, racking up views and prompting thousands of comments, many from users who were far less relaxed about the situation.
Charlotte later responded to one comment, explaining: ‘He just says the more pressure I put on him the longer he won’t,’ suggesting that attempts to encourage him to say the words may actually be having the opposite effect.
