Ed Rothe, who was 68, sadly passed away from lung cancer and had been Jane's partner for the last 13 years. Her assistant has posted on Twitter thanking everyone for their support and her friends from the "Loose Women" panel have said Ed was part of their family for many years and appeared on the show on numerous occasions.
The sad news comes after Jane celebrated her 58th birthday on Easter Sunday.
