Liam Neeson's son Daniel has proposed to his college girlfriend, Natalie Ackerman.
The happy couple shared images of the pair embracing during this proposal, which saw Natalie getting visibly emotional, while being showered by love from their friends and families.
Ackerman, who is the youngest son of Neeson and his late wife Natasha Richardson, popped the question to Ackerman while on a romantic boat trip in New York City, later confirming their engagement to People magazine: "Yesterday I got to ask my best friend to join me on this journey called life".
Declaring his undying love to Natalie, he said: "I could write novels on why I love Natalie, but there’s something deeper, something so cosmic about our relationship that I know we’re meant to be in this universe together".
He also added that his life has changed for the better since he met Natalie: "I see my mother in Nat, I see life in Nat, and reality just got a whole lot sweeter with a ring on it. Love wins!".
Ackerman and Neeson have been dating for eight years, having both graduated from Tulane University in 2019. While Natalie has worked as a brand communications manager, Daniel has worked as an entrepreneur, with his most recent venture seeing him cofound a drinks company, De Nada Tequila.
