A new docuseries looking back on the popular show, the X Factor is to hit our screens.
The show, which ran for 15 seasons, before finishing up in 2018, helped to launch the careers of artists such as Olly Murs, Little Mix, One Direction, JLS, Shayne Ward and Alexandra Burke to name a few.
Now, Louis Walsh, who served as a judge, has confirmed that a new three part series, exploring the "highs and the lows" is to begin filming soon, which will see him offer insights from his own personal experience on the show from next week onwards.
"I'm telling the truth" Louis stated. "People don't believe about the show, that it was real. We didn't know the votes, we didn't know the acts, we didn't know anything".
"Sharon Osbourne and I, we didn't know. We were there, we didn't know who we were going to get [in our categories]. [Simon] Cowell knew it all".
"Of course he knew", Louis continued, before adding: "He was great to work with. He was fantastic".
As expected, this led to a number of fans commenting on this via social media, with one viewer claiming that the X Factor was "rigged".
"The X Factor was completely rigged, and no documentary will prove otherwise", they wrote.
News of this comes weeks after Louis Walsh had previously slammed Simon Cowell, calling him a "has been", before going on to suggest that Britain's Got Talent was "finished", as he added further fuel to the fire regarding the ongoing feud between the pair.
Speaking to The Sun, Walsh wo co judged the X Factor alongside Cowell and Sharon Osbourne for the majority of the series, said: “BGT, who cares?! It’s not what it was".
“Back in the old days, it was pulling in 12 million, and the whole country cared who won". He added: “Now it doesn’t feel like that, who even won last year?”.
Having claimed that he has gone past his sell by date with regards to his position in the music industry, Walsh added that Cowell is “surrounded by people who won’t tell him the truth”, before saying that he is "done now" and "surrounded by fakes".
