Love Island winner Cach Mercer has become the fifth celebrity confirmed for this year's Strictly Come Dancing lineup.
Cach became a familiar face to viewers during the 2025 series of Love Island, where he captured the attention of the public and went on to be crowned the male champion.
He won the series alongside Toni Laites, with the pair becoming one of the standout couples from the show.
Following her time in the villa, Toni went on to become one of the hosts of spin-off show The Debrief alongside Shakira Khan and Yasmin Pettet.

Since appearing on the ITV reality show, Cach has continued to grow his profile online, building a large following through his social media content.
He has earned almost 50 million likes on TikTok, where he regularly shares videos featuring his Afrobeat, hip-hop and street dance moves.
His background in dance has already given fans an idea of what he could bring to the Strictly Come Dancing ballroom, although the competition will see him take on a completely different style of performance.
The star will now have to learn traditional ballroom and Latin routines, including dances such as the Foxtrot, Waltz and Cha Cha Cha, as he competes against other celebrities for the coveted Glitterball Trophy.

Following the announcement, Cach said he was excited to take part in a show he has watched for years with his family.
“I have grown up watching the show with my family and am so excited to now be part of the cast. Dancing is a huge passion of mine and I can’t wait to learn Ballroom and do the Foxtrot for the first time!” he said.
The upcoming series will mark Cach's first major television appearance since his Love Island win, as he swaps the reality show villa for one of the UK's biggest entertainment competitions.
More celebrity contestants are expected to be announced in the coming weeks as the full Strictly Come Dancing lineup takes shape.
