Macaulay Culkin and Brenda Song are using 'Home Alone' to teach their kids about home safety.

Song recently revealed that her and Home Alone star Culkin have shown their kids the iconic films to teach them about home safety rather than telling them their dad is a star.

The actress told E News that after the first time they had watched the film with their kids she said: "See, your mama's here right next to you. Don't you want to give me a hug? I didn't leave.”

“I'm so terrible, but I feel like your children have to be a little scared, fear goes a long way," she continued.

Song explained that she is really focused on teaching her kids about stranger danger and described to them that "they're a stranger if you don't know their name."

“I was like, ‘It doesn't matter if they're someone's parents. If you don't know their name, or you've never seen them before at our house, they are a stranger,’ ” she shared.

Culkin celebrated the 35th anniversary of the film in 2025, the actor explained that although he had seen the film many times with his kids they still do not know that he is Kevin. Culkin expresses that he wishes to “to keep up that illusion as long as possible.”

In other news, Culkin and Song were seen at the premiere for Song's new comedy film titled 'Operation Taco Gary's' at the Culver Theater in Los Angeles on Tuesday evening.
