Meghan Markle has shared a look into her family’s sweet Christmas traditions in the trailer for her Netflix show.
The Duchess of Sussex has filmed a festive special of her series With Love, Meghan, which sees her chat with famous pals while they craft or cook.
In the first look at the special, shared on Wednesday hours before her brother and sister-in-law Prince William and Kate Middleton attended the Royal Variety Performance in London, Meghan gave a glimpse at the lead-up to Christmas in her home with Prince Harry in California.
The short clip opens with Meghan looking around a Christmas tree lot and declaring ‘I love the holiday season, it’s about finding time to connect with the people we love’ as a bottle of champagne is popped and she plants a kiss on her husband.
As Meghan talks about embracing traditions, she’s seen making wreaths and putting cookies on a plate before the camera shows a sweet mug with a message for Santa from her children, Archie and Lili.
Only one side of the cup is visible, but the beautiful script handwriting appears to tell Santa that the children have ‘been good’ and that they hope he ‘travels safely’ around the world on his mission, with their names at the bottom alongside an ‘xo’. What a sweet cup to use each Christmas Eve!
Later on in the trailer, Meghan is seen filling Archie and Lili’s reusable advent calendars, which have their names embroidered at the top and a pocket for a treat each day in the lead-up to Christmas.
Elsewhere, Meghan's seen preparing delicious festive food, wrapping presents, pouring drinks, and setting the table while wearing a glamorous green dress.
This sweet look at how Meghan and her family will be enjoying the festive period comes after she told fans in her newsletter that the family is harvesting sage from their garden to use in a Thanksgiving feast.
Reflecting on the growing process, Meghan wrote: ‘Those strolls, with Archie and Lili running in tow, her husband checking on the bees, Pula chasing the ball with Mia trying to keep up — those were the sun-drenched moments that made an everyday walk something a bit more magical.
‘And that sage, that purple, that scent around the garden, was always there in the background.'
The With Love, Meghan festival special will air on Netflix on December 3.
