Michael Bublé surprised fans with a at the Ruby Sessions in Dublin on Friday night.

Doyle's pub on College Green was filled with the Canadian pop musicians classic hits such as Dance With Me Tonight and Heart Skips a Beat. Bublé also sang songs off of his upcoming 4th album, which he described as a "love letter to country music".

The Ruby Sessions are highly regarded throughout the music industry. The event which is usually held on a Tuesday was founded 1999 by Niall Muckian and Conor Donovan is known for giving publicity to fresh new artists. However Michael Bublé is in good company as many larger artists have also preformed at the sessions including Ed Sheeran and Paolo Nutini.

The sessions are known for the "blind booking" operation in place for the acts. Patrons have to buy a ticket to the gig without knowing who will be preforming that night, until they walk out onto the stage.

Bublé will be playing Malahide Castle tonight, the 27th of June, and Thomond Park in Limerick on Sunday.
