Paul Mescal and Jessie Buckley are to walk along the Dublin red carpet for the Irish premiere of Hamnet.
The film, which is an adaption of Maggie O'Farrell's book and directed by Chloe Zhao will receive a special screening at the Light House Cinema on December 13. The film will be released on Irish cinemas on January 9.
Hamnet has seen both Irish actors earn Golden Globe nominations for their roles in the film, with Mescal nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture (Drama), with Buckley earning a nod for for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture (Drama).
It has also earned nominations in other categories, including Best Director for Zhao and Best Screenplay for Zhao and O’Farrell.
This movie is centred around famous playwright William Shakespeare and his wife Agnes, as the pair grieve the loss of their son, Hamnet, who died aged 11 in 1596.
