Irish actor Paul Mescal was part of a star studded list of guests at the 'royal box' who watched this year's All Ireland Senior Hurling final at Croke Park over the weekend.
The Maynooth native watched on with his father, who is also named Paul Mescal, sitting beside retired champion jockey Rachel Blackmore, as well as singer Tom Grennan, who took his Irish father to the match.
On the day, Mescal spoke to BBC NI, where he acknowledged the privilege of getting "free tickets".
"The All-Ireland final day is one of the most special days in the calendar and to be here with dad - we're so lucky to get free tickets!", Mescal said.
The actor's father also added: "It's phenomenal to be here, this is the pinnacle of Irish sport and you have to be here to fully get the atmosphere".
Ahead of the match, Paul Mescal Jr also offered his prediction.
"I'm delighted to be here. I'm here with my dad... I think Cork are very much favourites. Hopefully Tipp can stay in it in the first 40, 50 minutes to make a game of it at the end but hard to look past Cork to be honest", he stated.
Along with Mescal, Little Bit Of Love singer Tom Grennan also attended GAA headquarters, bringing his Irish father to the final, who is originally from county Offaly.
'This has been a dream of mine to come to an All-Ireland. Now, I've got my dad with me", Grennan said.
Afterwards, Tom Grennan took to Instagram to express his delight at the sheer skill that was on view in Croke Park.
"Make sure you watch, I'm not joking how good this sport is", he wrote.
Other celebrities who watched on from the stands included Olympian Sharlene Mawdsley, whose partner Mikey Breen played a starring role for the Premier County at corner back.
Ultimately, Mescal's prediction did not come true, it was Tipperary who won out, beating Cork in the final on a 3-27 to 1-18 scoreline.
Last week, Paul Mescal had also been spotted with his All Of Us Strangers co star Andrew Scott at Wimbledon. More on this here.
